Last chance to attend and say you saw one of the shows in the first season. When we are famous you will wish you had… mmmmm … famous … mmmmmm fishsticks.

This Weeks Performers:

Jazzy-Blues Guitar and Vocals
Thrilled and elated to be a part of Indigo Scott is delighted to unleash evening after evening of power packed variety on the well deserving entertainment-thirsty audiences of DC. Reaching back to the ideas of Pre-TV-Vaudeville-Floorshow America, when a show was a show and it came with drinks and something to eat, he and Executive Producer Jonathan G. Willen have embarked on a quest to provide the audience with all they will need except the babysitter. Bob Mondello of the City Paper called Burgess “A one man musical marvel”. Joe Banno says, “That Burgess is crazy!”

Karen Beriss – Magician
With a unique blend of skill, wit, and intrigue, Karen Beriss has consistently been recognized as one of America’s top female magicians.

Emily Crews-Dancer
After 3 years with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, he spent a number of years performing for crowds on the street in Europe, Asia, and North America. His studies with Avner Eisenberg have helped shape his eccentric take on reality. David Letterman and Paul Shaffer both agreed that he is “Really something!” and his mother thinks he’s a “Good boy.” Rich is currently affiliated with Big Apple Circus Clown Care and he continues to work as a clown, juggler, and is currently finishing up his second “Bert the Nerd” comic book.
Joe Peck shares a fun one-night-only performance Alone Again, Naturally at The Indigo Room in the Atlas Performing Arts Center on Friday, February 13 at 8:00 p.m.

Tired of that not-so-cute little cherub’s holiday? This is the show for you! Friday the 13th — the day before Valentines Day — Joe appropriately explores the trials and tribulations of those who are unlucky in love.
Take an outstanding set of music. Add a heaping helping of humor and hi-jinx. Stir in just the right amount of torch songs. Season it with the well-played stylings of music director Peter Darling. You’ve got one heck of an entertaining way to spend the unlucky eve to that most romantic of days.

Make reservations by calling 202-399-7993 and come ready to have a really great time! Additional information can be found at joepeck.net.

JOE PECK
Baritone/Tenor vocalist Joe Peck has appeared on stage in productions at The Kennedy Center, Ford’s Theatre, Open Circle Theatre, Theatre Lab, Signature Theatre, Olney Theatre, and The Washington Savoyards, among others. Joe works on camera in commercials, industrials and independent films, and he performs regularly in voiceovers as a narrator as well as providing character voices. After college, he pursued a successful career in government and government affairs before returning to the stage and performing full-time in the last several years. It is this breadth of experience – on and off the stage – that uniquely informs his work. Joe has appeared in cabaret performances at venues as diverse as The Prince Theatre, Mimi’s American Bistro, Mr. Henry’s Capitol Hill, Maggie’s Cabaret at St. Margaret’s, The Arts Club of Washington, Indigo @ the Atlas Performing Arts Center and the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop. His vocal training includes work at MTSU and with Wayne Kemp Vocal Studios. You can find him online at joepeck.net.

PETER DARLING
Pianist Peter Darling can be seen regularly delighting the crowds at Stars Bistro and Bar in Washington, DC. Peter’s varied keyboard skills have taken him in performance to a host of DC area venues as well as farther afield – playing, for example, at Carnegie Hall and for the Olympic athletes during the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia. An outstanding solo performer in his own right, Peter is adept at and enjoys working with talented vocalists.
Mark Phillips
Magician
Mark Phillips comes from a military family which instilled in him a passion for discipline, order and psychological warfare on his younger sisters. Class clown and middle child, Mark’s first trick was the vanishing cigarette. Fortunately for him, in 1960’s Kentucky a six-year-old with cigarettes was not an unusual site. Today, Mark represents corporations large and small at trade shows around the world. His entertaining “live commercials” help his clients attract attention, deliver a concrete marketing message and generate sales leads by the hundreds. Mark has amazed audiences throughout North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East. Locally, he has appeared at The National Theatre, The Kennedy Center, and in the Capitol Fringe Festival where the Washington Post remarked, “Mark Phillips has skill to burn.” He speaks German and an avidly plays the Vienna Horn, a musical instrument so obscure he finds a way to include it in every bio. Finally, he is a producer and performer at the Comedy & Mystery Society in Gaithersburg, MD.
